Whether you are using one of Sony’s full-frame or APS-C ICL cameras, you should be aware of the company’s “secret weapon,” which makes a great backup camera, and one I always have with me when I shoot concerts. I don’t consider either of the two attached shots to be great photos — until you realize they were taken with a tiny camera that has a 1″ sensor, is smaller than a deck of cards, and fits in a shirt pocket. Regardless of which main camera I am using, I never go anywhere without my DSC RX100 VI. Both shots are more or less SOC, except for removing the bass guitarist’s elbow at upper right in the shot of Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos.
